The RSPB were meant to be in the Cathedral grounds until the 10 July but according to Cathedral staff have decided to stop! We would like to inform the public there is still amazing viewing to still be had.The youngsters have still not started tumbling yet it normally starts in week three …..this is week three of flying….so it’s all about to start. In our opinion the next three to four weeks are really good viewing so keep your eyes to the sky for the next three to four weeks…….when around the Cathedral.We will keep you informed………………
Camera turned off!
The Camera was turned off yesterday!”……..Not much to see in the nest now as the baby’s are learning their trade in the air.
Action time at the Cathedral!
Lots of action and flying at the Cathedral now all the youngsters are in the air you have the pertential to have up to six peregrines in the air at once. Here we have mum and one of the youngsters demanding food …..what else!
Dinner Mummy Please!
Dinner yesterday evening!
After quiet a long pause where mum eat a fair amount of Dinner she did fly around with youngsters following before taking it to the nest turret for the youngsters to eat.
All have now fledged!
Our young female 66 is also in the air now ….lots of action at the Cathedral last evening….pictures to follow….well just one quick one for now.
All the boys have fledged!!
All three of the boys have fledged 67,68,69, mean while are young lady is exercising on the top of the nest turret….won’t be long now.

Second juvenile out of the nest
This morning a second youngster was spotted out of the nest – male 67. He spent the rest of the day hopping around the battlements before making the leap back into the nest turret just before the RSPB finished their day.
