It must be very hot in there…..they will have moved to the other side of the turret to find shade……it’s quite deep inside the turret so nearly impossible to fall out….just trying to stay cool…..In just under three weeks they will be flying!

What an amazing evening – even the weather was kind!!!

So we think we have 3 boys 70,71 and 72 and a girl 73.  As they were being fed when the ringing started some had eaten more than others so it wasn’t obvious from their weights and measurements.

Amid lots of fly-bys  the four chicks were ringed this evening if we had to guess it would be three boys and one girl …..but for once it was very difficult to tell…..Janet went up with Graham so lots more pictures to follow.

Yesterday there was lots happening Peregrine intruder was swiftly dispatched.Seagulls were not welcome, and several buzzards were dispatched very quickly in between it was feeding those hungry youngsters…….The picture of the buzzard attack is not quite up to normal standards ….it was so high but none the less note worthy I thought to let you see …….more to follow I’m sure…..
