How quickly the chicks grow – their feathers are already starting to show!

Stunning pics of Mum going crazy while the chicks are ringed.  Dad stayed well out of it and didn’t show his face until all was finished, but at least he brought in some food in the form of a starling.

If you were wondering why the camera was yet agin not working here is the reason. The chicks were ringed tonight we have a boy 60 and girl 61. Both healthy.

The webcam will be down for a short period this evening, only for about half an hour or so.

Some whizzy bits have been done to the camera feed and it is all working now except the sound.

In the end he took one of his ready meals round from the larder it had seen better days and when he finally took it to her she was not very impressed.

The Snack arriving

After a very quiet afternoon a snack was brought in. Many thanks to Mark he keeps going halfway up the spire to reset the transmitter relay so we get colour again the RSPB  are going to have a very fit member of staff after all the extra exercise . Next year a brand new camera I think!!
