We may not have seen our little male make his first flight yesterday but we did see a food pass. Not in mid-air of course but our feisty little male took the starling from his Dad and then ‘covered’ it in the manner of a peregrine protecting its food.
First I screamed at Dad that I am hungry
Then I went and took the food from him
He flew off with nothing – this is mine!!
