First Chick
The first chick is finally here below is an image …..not the best I’m afraid .However the Chick can clearly be heard on the webcam. Well done !
No chicks only eggs as they pair do a changeover
Still nothing……but four eggs!
Still 4 eggs
After a great deal of agitation and noise Mum got off the eggs and left the nest at 2.30 this afternoon. She returned a few minutes later and settled to brood again.

Expectant in the sun!
It’s turned in to a beautiful sunny day and if all goes to plan we will in the next couple of days see our first chick.
Nearly There!
Viewing with the RSPB starts Today!
The RSPB will open there viewing today in Cloisters Cafe gardens so go along and have a look it’s well worth a visit. You can watch the bird on patrol or watch and see the second sitting on four eggs on the large big screen. We of course are blissfully unaware this is all about to happen as it is 1 am in the morning and we are fast asleep. Good luck RSPB.
