After a great deal of agitation and noise Mum got off the eggs and left the nest at 2.30 this afternoon. She returned a few minutes later and settled to brood again.

It’s turned in to a beautiful sunny day and if all goes to plan we will in the next couple of days see our first chick.

Viewing with the RSPB starts Today!
The RSPB will open there viewing today in Cloisters Cafe gardens so go along and have a look it’s well worth a visit. You can watch the bird on patrol or watch and see the second sitting on four eggs on the large big screen. We of course are blissfully unaware this is all about to happen as it is 1 am in the morning and we are fast asleep. Good luck RSPB.

Sorry for the delay in posting but we are still away with very dodgy Internet connection . However there are four eggs now the fourth egg was laid sometime yesterday afternoon.
