In the sunshine this afternoon just one peregrine on the cathedral – a very well fed peregrine!!
Lazy Sunny Afternoon
It may of been cold but both of the Peregrines were resident in the sunshine on Saturdsy afternoon . The picture is of the female they were sitting quite close to one another as well.
Cold and frosty morning!
On a cold and frosty morning two peregrines were present one adult and one juvenile.
Roost at night
It is quiet difficult to see the youngsters during the day now but they still come in to sleep on the Cathedral at night. The pictures below were taken one evening about two weeks after the RSPB had finished their viewing station. The youngsters learning the ropes!
Tea on the lawn!
Female 65 decided not to waste the food dropped earlier. We had only just arrived and were treated to her having her ‘tea on the lawn’. This is very unusual to see especially in such a confined space. Glad to say all those who happened upon us were reverently quiet!!!
Awesome night at the cathedral!
After the hottest day of the year the flying was incredible
