This afternoon at 2.45pm the first male peregrine no. 69 fledged. He made a crash landing on the roof of Iceland in South Street. We were very worried because the roof has a considerable amount of netting on it. Luckily he got off safely and returned to the cathedral. We were there to catch the whole sequence of events.

Back to the ringing………

Just before they were ringed Mum brought in a snack. As we said yesterday evening the chicks are One girl and Three boys .The ring numbers are as ollows…..
