First one fledges

This afternoon at 2.45pm the first male peregrine no. 69 fledged.  He made a crash landing on the roof of Iceland in South Street.  We were very worried because the roof has a considerable amount of netting on it.  Luckily he got off safely and returned to the cathedral.  We were there to catch the whole sequence of events.
