Second day at Chichester Cathedral and Janet meets the Mayor ….lots of action early on and good viewing all day…..Many people came perhaps as many as 400 ……we also had several hundred Scouts who attended a service in the Cathedral what a day……Thanks to all who came to visit and a special thank you to Richard and our Volunteers, Carol ,Mark and Scarlett.
This was taken 5 minutes ago change over so Dad is now in charge …..First reminder first two open days are next weekend 27th and 28th April from 10am-4pm when David Janet and the volunteers will be on the south west lawns of the Cathedral to show you the birds …..they are sitting on 4 eggs……as well as the volunteers members of the Cathedral staff will be present and we have had great interest from the press for the first day …..Hope to see you there……it would be great if you can make it !!!
All is well on the nest with the incubation in progress and one week to go to the viewing days begin. The first day is Saturday 27th April……perhaps we will see you there between 10am and 4pm……weather permitting!!
What great news a fourth egg laid at approx 3.15 am so pleased …..sorry the news is late but we were traveling and at this moment a few thousand miles away ..,,that does not make us any less pleased……for your information the first thing we saw when we arrived at our hotel was a Peregrine they live on the hotel and have a nest box…..home from home ……
I was working late tonight …..thanks for the update from Jim on the Facebook page the egg was laid at about 4.15pm……and on the TV as well …..how exciting……!!

Our Mum has laid another egg at 3.30 this afternoon. She’s looking a bit amazed but has now settled down on them!!
