All four are safe and well fourth one was very slow to Fledge …..It has been very difficult to sex them with the wide angle lens on the camera on the webcam….. the last one to fledge was a girl….therefore a complete turn around we have three boys and a girl all fit healthy and well ….and flying well….landing well will come later it’s pretty dodgy at the moment.
They are all out and about learning fast and after only a few days able to do a food pass…..well nearly….!!!

Some brilliant film of the first chick fledgeing at Chichester Cathedral including some great slow motion footage…..This was all shot by
Samuel Horne…Thank you so much for sharing…..!!!
Just to confirm two fledged today ….all has now been confirmed the first one at 1.30pm and the second at 5.30pm and two are still in the nest…..all four are fine ….!!
Antics this am from the nest getting very close now ……don’t think they thought very much of the rain…..using wings as umbrellas it will never catch on!!
Well they are getting very restless nearly time to make that leap of faith…..even though they are investigating I think we are looking at the end of the week before they make their first flight…..They have done so well this year…..!!
Growing very fast ten days from fledging still very difficult to judge …..but if I were a betting Man which I’m not three girls and a boy ….but until they fly there will be an element of doubt in my mind as the wide angle lens makes it very difficult to judge. Before anyone says anything the little one on the right had a huge feed just after this frame was grabbed.

Feeding this morning the little ones…..not so little anymore have found their voices……quick update they are four weeks old tomorrow….there is great debate in the Shaw household as to how many boys and girls…..definitive answer early next week…..when the debate will conclude…..for those of you who don’t know they will not be ringed this year due to covid 19 and all the red tape involved with access…..what we must take from all this is they are four beautiful, healthy ,Young Peregrines , who were born in 2020 to live and fly free….enjoy the video…..!!
Neil Pringle from the BBC made a lovely little film of the Peregrine family with a little help from me and the entire peregrine family from 2020……
