Here is a photo of Mum getting back on the nest after having a go at Dad presumably because he had come to the nest with no food.

Yesterday another rogue peregrine had to be chased off so our parents still have to be very vigilant.

As I write this the fourth chick is emerging from its shell.  Dad finally arrived with some food for Mum and we got a good look at the chicks and clearly visible was a chick fighting its way out of the egg .

Shes brought the food back so may feed the youngsters now.  Let you know soon.

On a cold wet morning with Mum doing a superb job we have a second chick!! Picture to follow.

Unfortunately he didn’t get to see his first-born as mum stayed put.
