Did you know you can see what is happening in the nest at night time?

Camera is hopefully being fixed next week!!

The pair mated eariler and mum is still showing well on the nesting turret. I will upload the mating series later.

Usual activity at the moment clearing up the nest and managing the scrape in glorious sunshine. Hopefully eggs in the next two weeks or so. Picture below of the nest, many apologies for the poor quality but hopefully the problem with the camera will be sorted in the next week.

Don’t worry will will keep on top of the issues of the poor quality picture!

The webcam is now live so we can watch Mum and Dad as they make a scrap for the eggs and generally tidy up. For ease of access there is a direct link from the Home page of this website which is labelled as a ‘test’ due to the poor quality.

Apologies for the picture quality – sorry but we have no control over this and the RSPB are on the case. We have been assured they will do all in their power to sort it out before it really matters.

We will keep you posted.

As yet we do not have a date for the camera to be switched on but as soon as we have a link to it we will let you all know.

Mum and Dad have been displaying and mating over the last few days, this means it could be another good year! If you are passing the cathedral take a look. Also don’t forget the RSPB Date With Nature starts in the 12th April.
