Here is Mum having a snack while her 2 chicks cuddle up together. All of a sudden she is clearly not happy about something and quickly goes on the defensive before sitting on her brood to protect them.

Dad just came to look at the kids but was quickly sent packing as he didn’t bring any food.

Here is Mum feeding her 2 chicks. Oh and by the way the camera is in colour now – much better.

Our second chick has just hatched.  Well done Mum.

Well looks like I was right.  I have just had confirmation of our first chick!!
