A new season and RSPB dates

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon our male and female were very much together and going into the nest turret for some housework; so it looks like we are set for another great season.

Back again on Sunday – not a very nice day and both could be found trying to get out of the wind on the north side of the spire. ┬áDad was looking out of the northwest turret and Mum was on the castellations between the northeast and northwest turrets. Both looking very well fed.

DATES FOR RSPB are 11th April to 5th July.

We don’t know yet when the camera will be switched on but we hope it is still working after the storms of the winter/spring (or that a better one has been installed) and that they remember to switch the microphone on at the same time so that we have sound as well as picture.

Here’s to another great season!
