The girls are growing fast, and learning too – grooming themselves, searching for food, and also taking chunks of flesh from Mum/Dad or the area and breaking pieces off to eat.
I will miss the family so much, with their daily routine, and their antics, as well as their parents calling to each other, and then the chicks joining in as well!!
Do the chicks fledge at a particular time of day, say, after breakfast, or perhaps randomly?
Will their be news on the blog, about the progress of chicks? (Hoping so!!)
I shall be worrying about them being safe,
Best regards,
Wendy Roberton
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your comments.
Yes we will still blog after they have fledged. You will notice that on some nights they may still frequent the nest area to sleep but we will be showing you (hopefully) some pictures of the juveniles learning their paces with flying.
