Buzzard Attack
With all the excitement of 2 eggs hatching the other day I forgot to tell you about the buzzard that ventured too near to the nest site, causing Dad to take off at full speed and mum to temporarily leave her dinner on one of the smaller spires.

The third egg hatched early this afternoon. Fourth one soon?? Obviously Dad thinks so as they are both currently asleep in the nest box (time 20.36)
And then there were 2
Just after 4.30 a second chick was spotted with half a shell and a picture at 4.50 to be added later
First chick hatches
This afternoon our first chick hatched at 3.20 pm. Here is a picture – the chick is the white fluff under her wing on the left hand side.
No sign of eggs hatching yet!
At changeover today at 1.30 pm all 4 eggs are still intact! Will the first chick come tomorrow?
Female would like food!
Male comes in about 12:45 but our female tells him off, I think she is hungry!
