Just popped back to see the egg……

Just checking the egg!

Mum came back to incubate her first egg – it’s cold out there today.  Dad has already inspected it!!!!

The first egg was laid last night ….took us by surprise most usual date is 26th March …..so they are early and I thought they were late….last weekend there was a great deal of activity ….now the drama ….and fun begins !!

Dad was a very good boy and brought an offering of food to the nest.

Here is our female guarding her nest and looking very angry while our male chases another female around the skies.  Ultimately our female goes to see off the intruder.

Non stop for the Peregrines great day for us viewing as well ………

Busy day at the cathedral everything was happening today …..eggs in the next 10 days I expect ……..

Mating today
