First One Fledged…!!
So at 2.20pm our little girl AS fledged made a very dodgy landing ang slid into the gutter …..she is fine but is taking her time to make a second flight I am awaiting pictures from colleagues of the fledging but this is her on the ledge after fledging….more pictures to follow….!!

Rearing to go…..!!
We stayed after the open day was finished and were rewarded by one of the girls climbing up again ….we had been watching all day for this to happen and just before 5pm it did ……they look so ready to go…..!! Thank you so much to long time friend Paul Soden to lending me his camera to take the picture mine was already stashed ready to go home….!

Fledging at the Weekend…..!!
Butter would not melt ….but they are nearly ready to fly more than 5 weeks old now and due to fly this weekend for the first time. Join us on the Cathedral lawns as the open days continue and we see these amazing birds fly for the first time . Bring a picnic and join us on the lawns this weekend 21/22June as we watch them make their maiden flights !!!

Growing so Fast….!!
So open days are going well and the young Peregrines are growing so fast . They are going to Fledge on June 21/22 and of course the open days are running until the 6July. So we will be there to bring you all the action or of course you can come and visit us. It never ceases to amaze me to see the speed with which they grow…!!

Open Days…!!
Open days for the Peregrine’s start tomorrow 7th June. We will normally be out on the South East lawns with telescopes, electronic screens etc so that we can show you all the birds in the best way possible . However tomorrow the weather apparently looks horrendous so if that is the case you will find us under Cloisters with table and electronic screens……for viewing just for that one day. The point is we are not letting weather put us off on the first day …..Hopefully see you there….!!!
