Now I know why we bought a camera for the nest it’s really a perch for the youngsters …..first time I see them use it as a perch ….very active this pm……

Four lots of food and chasing the gulls…..all in a days work…..

So four lots of food in just over two hours but none to the chicks ….this is done to try to make them come on to the ramparts of the tower…..they are six weeks on Monday and this is when they should fledge…….

Looking more like peregrines every day

Our family is getting ready to leave the nest and see the big wide world.  There is much flapping to strengthen the wings ready for flight and they are feeding themselves and fighting over food.  All part of a steep learning curve.

They are so big now!

It must be very hot in there…..they will have moved to the other side of the turret to find shade……it’s quite deep inside the turret so nearly impossible to fall out….just trying to stay cool…..In just under three weeks they will be flying!
