On a cold winters day both birds were around perhaps a little quizzical about all the work going on below but both very much in residence…….Happy New Year All ……First post of 2018.

Still very good views of the youngsters as they learn the tricks of the trade could still be coming in to roast at night for another 6/10 weeks less and less during the day but all are fine to the best of our knowledge …,,,

The webcam is now turned off as the peregrine juveniles have now fledged.  The webcam will return in 2018.

This does not mean that there will be no more more posts!!  Keep watching this space for more amazing photographs of the juveniles as they learn how to survive.

Learning

There are great views of the youngsters learning the tricks of the trade at the Cathedral at the moment….should be good viewing for the next two to three weeks…..you just need a little patience and time on your side …..well worth the wait……The camera on the nest will be turned off on Monday 26th June as the youngsters rarely go to it now …..back on for next season……

Another buzzard drifted into their air space and was swiftly dispatched…..this one got away……

It was really great at the Cathedral last night ….there are gaps in between but it is well worth the wait……

Last night was great we even saw what was probably the first food pass of the season……more fun this evening…..

It started very slowly with us saying to each other it must be the wind…….In truth I think they had been fed just before we arrived……once it started it never stopped……just to confirm all four are fledged and all four are well and enjoying there new found gift of flight ….a few pictures from tonight……
