Last evening we saw 3 juveniles – numbers 80 (after her little early morning trip to the shops!!) and 93, the other one was shy and didn’t show the number. Mum tried to tempt 80 with some food and then took it to the ledge where 93 was sitting. At one point there were 2 peregrines on the Bell Tower.
Apologies
Many apologies … after our first post telling you the numbers and sexes we had in advertantly swapped the numbers around. We have put that right now so all posts are correct!
Lots of action……..two fledged….all out ot the nest…….!!
Our little Boy……..
Second chick is down on the Ramparts…..
The second chick is down on the ramparts…..no major flight just enjoying the view….very normal behaviour when they are fledging….all will be fed and cared for during the whole of this process by the parents…….It’s number 80 one of the girls….
All is well…….
All happening…….but no real flight……
Food comes in …..chick tempted back to nest turret…….well not quite …….hunting round the cathedral. ….and the pidgeon looks on ……..not in awe……..
I thought I could fly……not quite……
No 94 is out of the nest box on the main ramparts ……but I think a big jump took him there not a flight…….
No one fledged yet……..
No one has fledged yet ……plenty of exercising of wings …..and looking like we are ready to fly ……mean while small parcels of food are occasionally brought in to the nest.
