This afternoon and evening there was nothing but blue skies ….what an evening…..open days continue tomorrow come and see for yourself….!!

Flying together AR and AS doing really well , landing can still be a challenge but they are learning fast. Open days continue at the Cathedral on the south east lawn until 6th July. Please come and see them as they learn all the tricks of the trade.

Dinner finally arrived…!!

Landing is another story…!! So this morning finally AS showed herself all safe. So both are flying well AR went up to the top of the spire where Maverick use to sit ….apart from Mavericks offspring this is the only one that has ever landed at that spot.

Extraordinary Couple of days both Fledged emotions everywhere as nothing quite went to plan but some magic moments as well . Landing up in the gutter, landing on the travel lodge , crashing into the Cathedral and the stain glass windows….paying a visit to the lantern , it was all there ….finally landing on the south west turret for the night . Today they were difficult to find brief glimpses of chaos and then disappeared completely high wind did not help we think they went to ground in the sanctuary of the south west turret out both wind and in the sunshine ….here’s hoping that’s the case…!!!

Little girl AR fledged this am at 8.45 now the fun begins as they learn all the tricks of the trade…!!

A few more from yesterday the day the first of the two Sisters fledged at Chichester Cathedral.Lots more action today I am sure…!!

So at 2.20pm our little girl AS fledged made a very dodgy landing ang slid into the gutter …..she is fine but is taking her time to make a second flight I am awaiting pictures from colleagues of the fledging but this is her on the ledge after fledging….more pictures to follow….!!
