I was so pleased when I saw himself yesterday at 7.15 am I did not look any further through the tape….never one not to be methodical I went back and reviewed it all again….I had missed the main event ……breakfast…..!!!

Both birds were in residence on Friday talking to each other and screeching in between. So it’s looking good. I’m hoping cameras can go live on the 28/02/23. It will be 6/8 weeks before I’m allowed to pick up my big cameras again…….so a big thank you to Ian P for this wonderful picture of mum taken on Friday Afternoon…..!!!

Thank you all so much for your well wishes I was really overwhelmed…..Ii would not of made it through if it were not for the incredible support of my family and the skill and kindness of the Royal Sussex County Hospital…..!!!
I also found some weird iner strength from somewhere….wrote a Children’s Educational/ informational book based – on fact ….The story of the Falcon with a Broken Heart which is in the form of a Fairy Tail ….there will be much more about the book during the course of the year. To continue….. time passes slowly when your waiting and not well ,so I started doodling on scraps of paper…..I came up with a Cartoon character who was based on Maverick and I called him Perry(one day I’ll share it with you all)……I had not even tried to draw since I was 16 years old and then it really was terrible….!! Nether the less I had a go….it’s our famous Peregrine Falcon Maverick I don’t think he’s too shabby….Drawn with Pencil and Crayons and then shading ,colour, and details finished with Adobe…..Anyway he’s for you guys…..My Family….All the staff and fellow paitients at the hospital…. To all of you with your well wishing…..and for Peregrine lovers everywhere…..Stay Strong …..your inner strength is there….somewhere….hope you all enjoy Maverick…..!!! THANK YOU.

Been away for some time many apologies…..!!! Was taken very ill and had to have Open Heart Surgery at Brighton University Hospital….amazing Place and Wonderful staff….a Valve and a Coronary Artery Bypass I am home now with a 12 week recovery program which when completed I should with luck be able to proceed as a man some 20 years younger. …….!!!Nearly time for the new peregrine season and it’s going to be a good one………!!!Despite all the building works both birds are in Residence.Live cameras back at beginning of March.Open days in June, and finally a new book to be published later in the year……!!! For this am Sunrise from the Cathedral….Good Morning….Janet and I send love to you all….!!!!! xx

Mum and Dad still both around a lot and the young female is still coming in to roost…..this is Dad…..Looking very fine….!!

Both birds in residence today and the juveniles have been seen and heard over the last week but we did not spot them this pm…..pictures Mum and Dad….!!
