Another classic exit by the boy…..the time is drawing close Mum is sitting high on the eggs and very fidgety so not long to go now ….it’s time to keep watching….Next Saturday the 6th May we are doing a one off open day on the Kings coronation on the Cathedral lawns from 10–4…..The rest of the open days will run from the 9th June until the 10th July…..our new Maverick Pin badge will be available for a small donation to the project….to ensure its future…..keep watching chicks very soon now….!!

Beautiful fly by from Mum today we also had visits from the Ravens and Buzzards….all was sorted very efficiently…..!!…..Eggs will start to Hatch at the beginning of May if I were a betting man it would be on the 3rd for the first egg to hatch……time will tell…!!

Mum came down low yesterday and gave us a rare treat sitting on the cross on the East side while Dad looked after the eggs…..!!

Great views on Camera two yesterday evening of Dad with the light changing as the sun went down on the city…..watch till the end for the full Peter Pan experience complete with Tinker Bell sprinkles ….caused as the light faded on the city…..a special moment…..!!!

What a difference a day makes wet and windy today; but what a cracker yesterday . Here’s Dad patrolling he tried several times to feed her and look after the eggs but all I’ve vain. If at first you don’t succeed….try ,try ,try, again…..I think it will be a different story today…..!!

So it’s a strange situation normally we have four eggs as a clutch but now seven days after the last egg I’m sure this is it for this year. We had very …very….poor weather during this period and as soon as soon as it got better the workmen were very visible by their lifts …..the birds could have been unhappy about this….what ever the case we will never know for sure….!! Now it makes it very difficult to predict accurately when the first egg will hatch both birds are incubating well but are somewhat distracted….again impossible to say why….!! My best guess with all fingers crossed would be hatching from the beginning of May ……pinning my hopes on the 3rd May…..!!

Dedication in this shocking spring weather well done to Mum and Dad sharing duties so well….!!

Well three eggs …… and a chance to show the difference in size of Mum and Dad while looking after the eggs….no wonder he has trouble sitting on the eggs it’s a marked difference in size….!!
