No one has fledged yet ……plenty of exercising of wings …..and looking like we are ready to fly ……mean while small parcels of food are occasionally brought in to the nest.

The first one on top of the turret was no 94 ……one of the boys.  

Three up on the ramparts…….No 80 a little girl the only one left in the nest…….

On a beautiful afternoon we had two up on the ramparts ……both the boys 93 and 94……..

The first one in the casterlation is a boy no 93……….

At 18.40 today the first chick came up into the casterlation for the first time …….first look at the world…….

Food is still coming in ……but perhaps a little less day by day….to encourage the youngsters to explore …..they are six weeks old on Monday so will be fledging anytime from Sunday /Monday onwards …..so will be in view on … Continue reading →
