Chichester Peregrines Continue reading →

First chick as far as I can tell born at about 8.55pm I’m sure you’ve seen the shell ….picture below not clear but it is a chick….!!

Change-over this am still no chicks as Dad takes charge ….if you spot anything let us know as contrary to popular belief we are not always watching…..nearly but not always…. Thank you.

Getting close now …she is slightly more restless and sitting higher at times….it is quite possible that she can sense the movement inside the egg of the new life within…..!!

Change over Dads getting a little more use to it now still a little clumsy but doing a good job expect hatching 5,6,7, May with a little bit of luck ….!!

Our female takes a break from looking after the eggs and goes and catches her own dinner…We should see a chick by the middle to end of next week…exciting times…..!!
